Demi Palmer at Cambridge House

My placement was an amazing experience that I will never forget.  It has shown me the world outside of the ‘private school life’ and provided me with important life skills that I will undoubtedly use.  Working with young people has increased my confidence when meeting and working with new people.  The two camping trips that I participated in opened my eyes to a life so different to mine; travelling with children that had either never or rarely left the city increased my appreciation for the opportunities that I have.  It was a rewarding experience that has developed my leadership skills and provided me with skills that I will be able to use not only at school but also in later life.
