Cumbria Youth Alliance
Cumbria Youth Alliance is an umbrella organisation with a membership of around 70 youth organisations in Cumbria.
It is a key signposting organisation for young people, workers, organisations, parents and carers.
The Alliance will improve the conditions of the life of young people so that they may grow to full maturity as responsible individuals and as constructive members of their communities.
Alliance projects include:
training development outdoor education
GAP placement programme counselling service
voices of young people young people's bursary schemes.

Opportunity
Volunteering opportunities would be available in:

. the work of their broad membership or
in administration & communications work at the Central Office in Ambleside. (There is another office in Penrith.)
There is a specific opening now for a Volunteer Treasurer for the Cumbria County Scout Council's Executive Committee based at Kendal.
