Stephen Day

Stephen Day is a retired diplomat, with a particular interest in leadership in the Arab world.   He has played a vital role in connecting the Fellowship with similar organisations in other countries.   Stephen became an honorary Fellow in 2008 and joined the Steering Committee in the same year.    

Stephen's years in the colonial and diplomatic service took him to the Yemen, Canada, the UN and Beirut.   He was HM Ambassador in Qatar between 1981 and 1984; subsequently, he was HM Ambassador in Tunisia between 1987 and 1992.   He is now a consultant in Middle East affairs.   Stephen is married to Angela and they have three grown-up children.
