Simon Barker
Simon attended St Bees School in Cumbria where he was completely unaware that it was Rank who were supporting him in his studies. From there he took a degree in English at Birmingham and a PGCE in Nottingham before moving in to teaching. For the past 15 years he has been working with Scripture Union, overseeing their programme of holidays for children and young people.
Simon lives in Olney (Bucks) where he is married to Debbie and they have two children, Jamie (11) and Ellen (8). In my spare time he enjoys a variety of sports including swimming and cycling, but particularly football as a passionate Leeds fan.
