Daniela Barone Soares
Daniela provides an important link between the Fellowship and Fundacao Estudar. She has been the Chief Executive of Impetus Trust since 2006: this is a venture philanthropy trust which brings strategic funding and expertise to charities. Prior to this she was Head of Institutional Support at Save the Children UK where she was responsible for strategic development and fundraising for a number of areas, restructuring their operations and achieving a significant increase in income generation.
Daniela spent the first ten years of her career in the Banking and Private Equity industries. She worked for BancBoston Capital in the U.S., Europe and the U.K where she was instrumental in developing their practice in Spain, Italy and Portugal. Daniela has also worked for Goldman Sachs in New York and Citigroup in Brazil. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bsc in Economics from Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Brazil.
