Highly Successful Manchester Charities Evening
The Manchester Science Gallery at the Museum of Science and Industry was an ideal venue for the first major Fellowship event outside London and Northern warmth ensured that it was an event that was greatly enjoyed by all who attended. There were seventy-five Fellows, charity representatives, school principals and guests of the Fellowship contributing to an excellent atmosphere in Manchester on Thursday evening.
The first responses from the fourteen charities who attended have been hugely positive ("superb", "brilliant") and we look forward to helping the charities follow up the leads which developed during the lively interaction over the two hours of the Charities Evening. James Williams masterminded this event and warmest thanks to him and his team of Manchester-based Fellows for an excellent gathering and a serious statement about how the Fellowship can develop outside its London origins.
