Fellows' Forum on Career Development

The first Fellowship Career Development Evening, held at Manchester Square Partners, was felt to be a notable success.   This was the first time that the Fellowship had looked to engage and support those Fellows making their way through the careers minefield that awaits those in their mid-twenties and thirties.

Jason Chaffer's discreet Mayfair townhouse (his firm's, rather than his own) was the ideal venue for open discussion in small groups.  The expertise available was formidable: one of London's most respected headhunters, a former Head of Talent at JWT, a major player in Abel and Cole's dramatic expansion, a senior financial adviser and a leading figure in the European anti-fraud office in Brussels, an indication of the Fellowship's range.

One Fellow's reaction: "I thought it was a fantastic evening both for meeting fellows and for receiving insight and wisdom into my own career and provoking some serious thoughts about it. I really can't thank everyone enough for making the time and taking the effort."   The report is here.
