Charity Ride for Headway
Rank Fellow Jenny Stone is tackling the hard yards for charity in September. She will be riding her horse, Penny (a Latvian horse with a fear of cows), on the Mary Townley Loop, a forty-seven mile trek around the South Pennine valleys and hills. It will take 3 full days of riding to complete. The terrain comprises a variety of surfaces including grass tracks, stone setts, stone causeways, aggregate paths and some quiet roads across open moorland and wooded valleys. It is all in a good cause, raising funds for Headway, the brain injuries charity.
The Fellowship wishes Jenny good weather, a minimum attendance of cows, and as comfortable a ride as the terrain allows. Do support Jenny if you can at http://www.justgiving.com/jennystone
